Can someone post a complete list of the steps to crack 2.5.3? Along with all of the files necessary? I see numerous posts about a special installer, but I can't find the link for it, also for a two step process and cert files and a special .exe file none of which I can seem to find (the link from BCSA on the larger thread no longer works). If I simply try to run the Meekah Patch on 2.5.3 I get an error every time.

For good measure it is best to cleanup/ uninstall all old Control4 references on your PC.

Uninstall all versions of ComposerPro/HE/etc.
Remove Program Files (x86)/Control4 Directory
Remove Roaming/Control4 directory

Now download the following file:1394002481160.zip

In the file you downloaded there are Step1 & Step2 folders.

**Important- UNZIP the files you downloaded in the above link and copy them to a new Folder onto your PC Desktop before trying to install** Zipped files sometimes do not install correctly.

In Step 1 folder :

1. Run the “ComposerPro-installation” as administrator. BUT DO NOT OPEN ComposerPro.

2. Next Copy and replace the certificates ( ca.pem ca_cert.pem ) files to C:/user/user's name/AppData/Roaming/Control4/Composer.(You need to set folder options to show hidden files to locate user/appdata…)

3. Then go to your C:/Program Files(X86)/Control4/Composer253 Directory and Rename the “ComposerPro.exe” to “ComposerProOLD.exe.

4.Now copy from the downloaded file in 'Step1' folder the “ComposerPro.exe” file to your C:/Program Files(X86)/Control4/Composer253 folder

In Step 2 folder :

4. Copy all the files in in Folder 2 to your Control4 installation directory C:/Program Files(X86)/Control4/Composer253 folder

5. Run the “patch director.exe” as administrator by right clicking and selecting 'run as administrator' and select your Director from the list. ( Your Director’s IP Address).

6. Once complete, sign into Composer using any email and password you want.
